Japanese company Yokogawa Test & Measurement is a global leader with over 100 years of experience in precision measurement instruments that provide engineering teams with accurate, reliable data for R&D and industrial applications.
Launched in 2013 the “Precision Makers” campaign positioned Yokogawa as the home of precision experts, yet its full potential was not realised. The challenge was to unlock this potential by showcasing how precision drives transformative change, with a special focus on sustainability.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of "kaizen," meaning continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail, precision is embedded throughout the brand system. Central to the identity are the “Precision Guides” – a unique, flexible grid system that enables consistent, precise design across all touchpoints, from balanced compositions to detailed product photography. This is supported by a dynamic, bright colour system and comprehensive digital guidelines including icon and illustration styles.
