Teledyne Healthcare, part of the global Teledyne Technologies group, brought together multiple medical imaging brands but needed a unified identity to express its collective strength. Each brand had strong individual recognition, yet the lack of a cohesive presence limited the group’s visibility across the healthcare sector. The challenge was to create a single, confident identity that could house diverse specialisms under one trusted name.
The idea centred on building a consistent and flexible design system that champions collaboration and clarity. It needed to reflect shared innovation while allowing individual brands to retain their unique expertise and focus. A modular approach helped align messaging, visual style, and structure across the group.
Execution positioned Teledyne as more than a manufacturer – establishing it as a trusted partner in healthcare. A clean, clinical aesthetic was paired with a sense of optimism and warmth that reflected the brand’s life-changing impact. The flexible identity centred on “blends” – gradients inspired by radio waves and thermal imaging, key elements of Teledyne’s technology. These dynamic graphics energised the existing colour palette, retained to ensure alignment with the parent Teledyne brand. Four bespoke blend assets and an extensive set of brand guidelines equipped internal teams to create consistent, engaging content within a unified visual system.
